The Mountaintop Marketing Group Peak Performance Breakfast Series offers an excellent opportunity to accelerate your government contracting goals. As with any endeavor, there are some guidelines that will help to make this engagement more productive and successful:

• Be on time. Key networking takes place prior to the start of the breakfast series – you’ll want to be a part of it. Further, a late funnel of attendees walking in during presentations can be distracting to our speakers and attendees.
• Turn off Cell phones or put them on vibrate.
• Register Early – both because we offer discounts on the registration and we often sell out of seating quickly.

• Don’t be shy. Talk to as many people as you can – government sales are about relationships – relationships with government, relationships with prime, and no more than ever – relationships with small business partners.
• Bring and give out plenty of business cards. Your business cards are like smiles – they only have value when they’re given away.
• Post all info relating to your firm on your business card – set-asides, certifications, nature of business – use the back of cards, there’s space there.
• Learn a stump speech about you and your employer.
• Wear your name high so that people can see it.
• Take advantage of sponsor marketing materials and booth conversations. We really do screen our sponsors to ensure that the information and/or resource is pertinent to our audience.

• You may find yourself in a line – use the time to network with others around you.
• Be cognizant of their time – others are waiting to speak with them as well.
• If possible, jot a note on your business card to remind a speaker of who you are and/or what you discussed.
